FIFA World Cup 2010: Booking essential!

After the final draw the fans are busy organising their tours through South Africa.
One of the most important things will be to watch the live matches but many of the visitors want to get the most out of their stay in South Africa.
One of the “must do`s” is a visit to the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa!
It is getting more and more complicated to organise tours and day trips to the Kruger National Park or even other activities like Elephant Interaction or Bush Walks because big groups and FIFA booked well in advance.
Dreamfields Guesthouse works with some local tour operators and is still able to organize tours and other activities.
To avoid disappointment: Please contact us now to secure your World Cup accommodation and wildlife experience.

FIFA World Cup 2010: Accommodation available

In June 2009 Dreamfields Guesthouse signed a contract with Match (FIFA) to be an official supplier for accommodation during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Despite many critics – especially from the fans point of view - the owners had their reasons and decided to go that way.

Being a small guesthouse the 2010 World Cup is very important. The region close to the Kruger National Park and the Mbombela Stadium will be visited by many, many fans and officials.
Unfortunately things did not go the way they were supposed to be and Dreamfields Guesthouse terminated the contract with Match today.

That is good news for people looking for World Cup accommodation! Please check the availability and rates online.

FIFA World Cup 2010: FIFA World Cup™ Accommodation

We think it is understandable that the 2010 World Cup is one of the main topics on our blogs. It is such a big event and it causes so many discussions.
One of the big issues is the increase of prices by some (many) accommodation establishment (see South Africa Tripadvisor Forum).

Dreamfields Guesthouse is going to increase the prices in November 2009 by 14% (double) and 15% (single) for 2010 which is the standard yearly increase.
There will be no further increases during the World Cup but we will offer reduced rates from January to May!
However, during that period we do not offer single rates and we have different payment and cancellation policies:
World Cup 2010 bookings that are placed on/before 04.12.2009: a non-refundable deposit of 50% is requested. The full payment will be due by the 05.12.2009.
World Cup 2010 bookings placed on/after 05.12.2009: a non-refundable deposit of 100% is applicable.
Cancellation: All deposit or payments are non-refundable

FIFA World Cup 2010: Only 321 days remaining to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ matches will be held in 10 stadiums: two in Johannesburg and one in each of the other eight host cities. Together, the 10 stadiums will host 64 matches and seat more than 570 000 people during the course of tournament. Five of the 10 are existing stadiums, which are being upgraded, with Soccer City - venue of the opening and final match - undergoing a major upgrade. The other five stadiums are being built from scratch.

Like most of the people, Dreamfields Guesthouse is waiting for the Final Draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ on the 04 December 2009 to find out who will be playing in the newly built Mbombela stadium in Nelspruit.
But not only the fans that will attend the games in Nelspruit will combine this football event with a visit to the Kruger National Park. The World Cup is held in winter and this region offers a dry winter with cold nights and lovely sunny days, the perfect season for game viewing.

Dreamfields Guesthouse offers accomodation during the world cup, click here to check availability and book online.

Kruger National Park: World Cup Accommodation

Within two hours of opening to bookings for next year's football World Cup, beds in South Africa's national parks are nearly all sold out, the parks authority said.

Kruger National Park, the country's biggest game park, on the border with Mozambique and Zimbabwe, is the biggest attraction. Kruger's main rest camps were all sold out. Some space in bush camps in the far north of the park was still available.

The good news: Dreamfields Guesthouse, only 10 km from Phabeni Gate, still got availability! Secure your accommodation during the World Cup now.
