We always recommend our guests to visit the Rehabilitation Centre Moholoholo near Hoedspruit, about 90 km from Dreamfields Guesthouse because it is a very special and educational experience. The rescued rhino which was found last year is celebrating its first birthday today. We had the chance to meet her yesterday and even though she is only 1 year old, she is very impressive and powerful when she walks up to you! We wish her a Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Baby Rhino

Moholoholo Rehab Centre
There are many things to do during a stay at Dreamfields Guesthouse, like visiting the Kruger National Park or the several view points and waterfalls on the Panorama Route but if time allows it we always recommend a visit at Moholoholo Rehab Centre. Moholoholo is about 90 km from Dreamfields Guesthouse, nestled in a picturesque setting at the base of the Drakensberg escarpment. It has become a haven for the rehabilitation and care of abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife. During their tours you can get close to all the animals and even feed a vulture!
