These independent assessments of what guests can expect to find at an accommodation establishment are based on the overall quality and facilities including cleanliness, guest comfort and food quality.

Dreamfields Guesthouse is a new member in the Portfolio Collection, bench markers of the best quality holiday accommodation in South Africa and Southern Africa.

Established in 1982, the Portfolio Collection today represents over 700 South African accommodation establishments chosen for their ambience, atmosphere and warm hospitality. Each is personally visited and assessed regularly by a team of travelling consultants to ensure that standards are maintained, and are an assurance that these accommodation establishments are benchmarked.

The Portfolio Collection has three accommodation guides in the Collection to suit the independent traveller in search of hidden gems and quality holiday accommodation in South Africa. With these three guides you can travel South Africa and stay in South Africa’s finest hotels, guesthouses and bed and breakfast places, as well as safaris at private game reserves.
