After some complaints from commentators, players and international audiences it has now been decided by FIFA that it will be “a World Cup with African sound”. The vuvuzela, is a “plastic trumpet”, approximately one metre in length, commonly blown by fans at football matches in South Africa. The sound can be irritating: Like an elephant, a swarm of angry bees, a fog horn - whatever it is, it is loud! Despite of the sound the vuvuzela will not be banned at Dreamfields Guesthouse either.
