FIFA World Cup 2010: Zakumi – the mascot

With only 195 days until the 2010 FIFA World Cup kicks off it is time to introduce the 2010 World Cup mascot, a green-haired leopard called Zakumi.
Zakumi gets its name from a combination of South Africa’s country code ‘ZA’ and ‘kumi’, meaning ‘ten’ (like in 2010) in several African languages.
Find out here how Zakumi leapt into prominence, what makes him so special and why he is so popular among South Africans.

Dreamfields Guesthouse: First Anniversary

One year ago, on the 15.November 2008, Dreamfields Guesthouse opened.
A lot has happened since that day, Dreamfields Guesthouse achieved a lot of accreditations and good reviews on many different web pages. We are proud of that, but most important thing for us are the guests and the comfort of our guests. We were happy to accommodate guests form many nations like Argentinia, USA, Canada, Singapore, France, Mozambique, United Kingdom, South Africa and Germany.
Most stayed with us to visit the Kruger National Park and do some of the many activities this region offers.
We are looking forward to many more guests arriving from all over the world and the exciting football-year 2010!

Dreamfields Guesthouse: Experience

Nowadays it is easy to find reviews about establishments on pages like Tripadvisor, Holidaycheck and others. But it is really an honour when guests publish their experiences on their own webpage or blog. It is worth reading this one and definitely worth having a look at the beautiful pictures!
Neil & Tina from Dreamfields Guesthouse really appreciate this. Thank you!
